My name is Cathy. I have been married for a few decades now and am the mother of two amazing adult sons who see the world as their playground.

I was born in Belgium, in Magritte's hometown.

This might explain why I have a somewhat rebellious spirit, questioning the status quo, the way things are done, why they are done this way and whether they could be done differently.
I am curious. I like challenges and bouncing ideas. I don't like political correctness and I praise freedom.

My career has not followed a classical and straight path. I have tried things; I have stumbled, failed, succeeded. I have often gone outside my comfort zone, travelling (a lot) and living abroad (Jordan and Australia), discovering new paths, new cultures, reinventing myself. 

I have learned resilience, humility and humanity.

But my atypical professional life has a common thread: entrepreneurship. It is an environment that I know quite well, not only because it has been mine for nearly 30 years, but also because I have my roots there. As the granddaughter of entrepreneurs and craftsmen, I chose to be an entrepreneur myself at one point in my life. It was intense, exciting and demanding.

And that's why I set myself the goal of doing my best to help them in their quest to develop successful businesses that make sense for their teams and for the world.

On a personal level, I love art and creativity. They are elements of growth, joy, innovation and fulfilment for people and companies. They are essential for improving the way we think and do things, and therefore for improving the quality of life on earth.

I also like jazz & rock music, Pink Floyd, the Shadocks (only the French-speaking among you and older people know what I'm talking about), Big Bang Theory ... and Jean-Claude Van Damme, but that's another story.
